Volunteer Opportunity East McKinney Learning Garden

Where: The East McKinney Learning Garden located at 704 Greenville Rd, McKinney, TX 75069, just off of TUPPS Brewery.
When: Saturday, September 20th, 8AM-10AM
What we will be doing: This volunteer opportunity will involve laying sod, weeding the garden, and cleaning lawn areas! Stick around until the end to join our pickling class hosted by our friends Chef Heather and La Tiendita
What to bring: We recommend bringing work gloves, a water bottle, and sunscreen.
What do I wear: Garden appropriate wear and closed-toe shoes/boots. Sunscreen is recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for waiver sign-in and team assignments.
Volunteers can earn service hours for their school group, troop, or club. See a member of the East McKinney Learning Garden to have your volunteer forms signed at the event.
