DESCRIPTION:Where: The East McKinney Learning Garden located at 704 Greenville Rd\, McKinney\, TX 75069\, just off of TUPPS Brewery. \nWhen: Saturday\, March 14th\, 8AM-11AM \nWhat we will be doing: We’ll be kicking off garden season this March 14th! Join us at McKinney’s largest community garden to help prepare beds for planting\, cleaning the garden area\, and staining new garden beds. \nWhat to bring: We recommend bringing work gloves\, a water bottle\, and sunscreen. \nWhat do I wear: Garden appropriate wear and closed-toe shoes/boots. Sunscreen is recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather. \nPlease arrive at least 10 minutes early for waiver sign-in and team assignments. \nVolunteers can earn service hours for their school group\, troop\, or club. See a member of the East McKinney Learning Garden to have your volunteer forms signed at the event.

DESCRIPTION:Where: McKinney Greens Park\, 798 Stewart Rd McKinney\, TX 75069 United States  \nWhen: Saturday\, March 21st\, 2026\, 8am – 11am \nWhat we will be doing: We’ll be working to maintain and clear our trails out at the park and perform litter clean up \nWhat to bring: Print the volunteer waiver and bring it with you. Participants under age 18 need to have a guardian or parent sign the form. You will also need to have your own work gloves. Bring bug spray\, sunscreen\, and water. Protective eyewear is recommended if you plan to be cutting branches or operating some of the cutting tools. If you bring your own tools\, please have them marked as such so we know they are yours. \nWhat do I wear: Long pants\, long sleeves\, and closed-toe shoes or boots. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.  Please dress appropriately for the weather. Please do not wear leggings\, shorts\, or other thin material which is not protective on your body. \nParking can be found along Stewart Road outside of the park \nBe sure to sign up so that we can notify you if weather conditions change.
