DESCRIPTION:Where: The East McKinney Learning Garden located at 704 Greenville Rd\, McKinney\, TX 75069\, just off of TUPPS Brewery. \nWhen: Saturday\, March 1st\, 8 am – 11 am \nWhat we will be doing: The East McKinney Learning Garden is preparing for its grand opening\, and MPF is looking for volunteers to assist with developing support structures for the garden and setting up the flower beds! \nWhat to bring: Print the volunteer waiver and bring it with you. Participants under age 18 need to have a guardian or parent sign the form. You will also need to have your own work gloves. Bring sunscreen and water. If you bring your own tools\, please have them marked as such so we know they are yours. \nWhat do I wear: Garden appropriate wear and closed toed shoes/boots. Sunscreen is recommended.  Please dress appropriately for the weather. \nParking: Parking will be available in the TUPPS parking lot \nPlease arrive at least 10 minutes early for waiver sign-in and team assignments. \nVolunteers can earn service hours for their school group\, troop\, or club. See a member of the East McKinney Learning Garden to have your volunteer forms signed at the event. \nPlease RSVP to let us know you’ll be there

DESCRIPTION:Erwin Park Volunteer Workday\nWhen: Every Second Saturday\, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM\nWhere: Erwin Park 4300 Co Rd 1006\, McKinney\, TX 75071 \nWhat we will be doing: Erwin Park has ever-growing and changing needs along its mountain bike trails and skills course area. Helpful volunteers are needed to do heavy duty labor along the bike trails. Each Second Saturday is different pending the parks needs. \nWhat to bring: Tools if you have them\, bug spray\, sunscreen\, and water.\nPower tools\, should you bring any\, should be battery operated for trail maintenance. Protective eyewear and headwear are recommended.\nIf you bring your own tools\, please have them marked as such so we know they are yours.\nWhat do I wear: Long pants\, long sleeves\, face covering\, and closed toed shoes or boots. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
