DESCRIPTION:We have partnered with the City of Princeton\, A&M Forestry Service\, North Texas Municipal Water District\, and others to plant upwards of 1\,200 trees along Tickey Creek at J.M. Caldwell Sr Park. \nRiparian Restoration Tree Planting Project along Tickey Creek \nWhere: J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park in Princeton\, TX. \nW College Ave\, Princeton\, TX 75407 \nWhen: Friday\, November 4th\, 9 AM \nWhat to bring: Gloves\, closed-toe shoes\, long sleeves\, water bottle. You may bring any tools you may prefer to use as well. Be sure to sign up through the Princeton website. \nSign Up Here: Tickey Creek Tree Planting | Princeton\, TX (princetontx.gov) \nWhat we will be doing: Planting trees. The holes will be pre-dug. We need volunteers to assist in the careful planting of these trees\, and we are looking for leads when it comes to training other volunteers on how to properly plant trees for best chance of survival. Mulch will be spread over the trees after planting. \n  \nVolunteers can earn service hours for their school group\, troop\, or club. Registering ahead through the Princeton website is required.

DESCRIPTION:DELAYED\, due to wet conditions\, we will perform maintenance at McKinney Greens Park on November 19th\, 2022\, at 8 AM.\nMcKinney Greens Tree Maintenance Volunteer Work Day\nMcKinney Greens Tree Maintenance \nWhere: McKinney Greens Park\,  798 Stewart Rd McKinney\, TX 75069 United States \nWhen: Saturday\, November 19th from 8-11 AM \nParking is available on Stewart Road on the right in front of the entrance. The Stewart Rd. entrance can be accessed by turning off of Highway 5 (north of 121\, south of El Dorado). \nWhat to bring: bring a signed waiver\, click here to fill out and print. Gloves\, closed-toe shoes\, long sleeves\, water bottle. \nWhat we will be doing: Tree care by checking on the trees planted during the November event. Trees may need to be pushed upright\, tall grass areas trimmed\, etc. \nNO PUBLIC RESTROOMS are on site\, please use the QT gas station on HWY \nPlease arrive about 10 minutes early for a safety orientation\, waiver sign in\, and team assignments. \nVolunteers can earn service hours for their school group\, troop\, or club.
