There are numerous activities that can be accomplished by citizen volunteers. Please arrive about 10 minutes early for a safety orientation\, waiver sign in\, and team assignments. \nWhat to bring: Long pants\, long sleeve shirt\, insect repellent\, work gloves\, face covering\, and water. DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled. \n  \nDate: Saturday\, April 25th from 8:00AM to 1:00PM \nWhere: Meet in the upper parking lot of Erwin Park.  Look for the popup  Please arrive early so you can sign the waiver. \nWhat will we be doing:  The green will be in full effect\, so there will be ample trimming\, some digging\, and as always some surprise RichFit for the uninitiated. \nWhat do I need to wear:  Please wear closed toed shoes\, long pants\, and long sleeve shirts.  Bring sunscreen and insect repellent.  Poison ivy and chiggers are prevalent at Erwin Park. \nWhat do I need to bring:  We will prove hand tools.  If you have any power equipment for trimming or leaf blowing\, please bring it\, but you will not be allowed to participate without the proper protective gear including eye protection. Parking is available on Stewart Road on the right in front of the entrance. The Stewart Rd. entrance can be accessed by turning off of Highway 5 (north of 121\, south of El Dorado). Clean up begins at 10:40 so the events can end on time. \nNO PUBLIC RESTROOMS are on site\, please use the QT gas station on HWY 5. Poison Ivy is present in the park\, so please dress with long pants and sleeves. \nWhat will we be doing: McKinney Greens has recently become a property of the McKinney Parks and Recreation Department.
