Parking and restrooms are available at the Towne Lake Recreation Center. \nThe McKinney Parks Foundation provides trail maintenance in this area for the enjoyment of the community. The event is from 8 AM-11 AM. \nWhere: Meet in the upper parking lot of Erwin Park.  Look for the popup  Please arrive early so you turn in your waiver. Please print the volunteer waiver in advance to save time. \nWhat will we be doing:  The green will be in full effect\, so there will be ample trimming\, some digging\, and as always some surprise RichFit for the uninitiated. \nWhat do I need to wear:  Please wear closed toed shoes\, long pants\, and long sleeve shirts.  Bring sunscreen and insect repellent.  Poison ivy and chiggers are prevalent at Erwin Park. Brink a mask to wear and any protective eyewear you may need if working with the heavier equipment. \nWhat do I need to bring:  We will prove hand tools.  If you have any power equipment for trimming or leaf blowing\, please bring it\, but you will not be allowed to participate without the proper protective gear including eye protection.
